Obituary of James C. Rogers, Sr., St. Wilcox County, Ala., then Orleans Parish, La.

ROGERS -- On Friday, March 28, 1958, at 10:40 o'clock p. m.,

JAMES C. ROGERS, beloved husband of Sarah Roe? Rogers; father of Rev. Harrison F. Rogers, and the late James C. and Edith Grace Rogers; brother of William Rogers of New Orleans, La., and Rev. P. Rogers of Chicago, Ill.; also survived by a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives; a native of Prairie, Ala., and a resident of New Orleans, La., for many years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also ministerial and other organizations, pastor, officers and members of the First African Baptist church of New Orleans, are respectfully invited to the wake on Tuesday night, April 1, 1958, and funeral on Wednesday, April 2, 1958, at 1:30 o'clock p. m. at the chapel of Alexander and Elum Undertaking Company, 1222 South Claiborne avenue. Dr. E. A. Henry officiating.

Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery.
